Jiang Ziya: “Be a god, in your own way.”

I feel that word-of-mouth will be very polarizing, because this is really not a pure entertainment movie, but I like it very much, and when I watched it, I kept thinking:

So, now the biggest bottom line that films can reach, the biggest scale that can be discussed, is to be explored by animated films?

To be honest, I didn’t have high expectations for “Ginger Teeth” before I saw it. The reason is obvious.

1. Listening to the popularity of Ne Zhan all the time, I feel like I’m trying to steal money by releasing it while it’s hot. Besides, it’s hard to beat the popularity and popularity of Ne Zha.

2, the trailer really can’t see what story and humanity, is Shouting some “save one person or save people” vulgar slogan, probably the story is poor.

However, after watching the whole movie, I knew why there was no story in the trailer of “Jiang Ziya”.

It’s not that it’s not in the movies.

In the movie, whether it is the sense of daily life in the North Sea, such as the Monster Bar (?) In the bowl of obsessive uncle, or after the war “bone wind bells” to the dead and living comfort, even for King Zhou’s position title arrangement, are funny, good cry good cry, fun.

And the reason the trailers barely tell us the story is because there’s so much more to it than can be told.

In the National Day this “a piece of red” schedule, the release of such a movie, does not know to say bad, or should gasp a breath, think fine fear.

What is the story of Jiang Ziya? The front reveals the plot warning.

The movie begins with Jiang Ziya killing the fox demon under the orders of Heaven after King Wu’s battle against Zhou. However, when he slays the fox demon, he finds out that there is something else going on, and the so-called “slaying” of the fox demon is actually a silence. After self-doubt and pursuit, the truth is as follows:

It turned out that the King Zhou’s battle was because he saw King Zhou’s wickedness and wanted the best arrangement for the people of the world, so he made an alliance with the fox demon, promising the fox demon the benefits of being in the fairy class, so that the Fox demon and the human woman with the same life lock, possession, charm the king, and the demon, causing the people’s anger, and finally overthrow the king.

To put it bluntly, everything is a game of chess.

Of course, is Tenzin, in order to give the “best” life and a game of chess, is a set of “protect” the chess.

However, after the war, people really happy? The people were displaced, the groups were antagonistic and hostile to each other, and the fox people lost their living space, so everyone had to punish them.

Is this the “best” life? Is it “best” for “all sentient beings”?

Does God conceal the truth and really “protect” the people?

Or do people need to be “protected”?

And even if it did, who decided that the Heavenly One should protect it? Why should God, the Lord of Heaven, decide for the people? Can even the kindest, the smartest, and the most thoughtful of all; make decisions that are “best” for everyone?

What is “best”?

Do “love” and “good” necessarily lead to “good” outcomes?

Anyway, it’s a story about controlling, you could say it’s a metaphor for the patriarch of the family relationship, the kind of parent who takes away your freedom in the name of love, or it’s a metaphor for a different kind of patriarch.

Those who are qualified to “seal gods” and “cut demons” represent the authority of the heaven, but the heaven ladder is actually another “same life lock”, its bright red color, like an umbilical cord, protects us, delivers nutrients for us, at the same time, contains us, imprison and conceal us.

For example, he is afraid that we will see some real “evil” become bad, so he only allows us to show some false “good”.

But the movie is not always criticizing Heaven. I always believe that in the starting point of the movie, even in the end, God doesn’t think he’s wrong. Even though God may not be wrong, he really does care for the good of the people, without him, the people might live longer and worse under King Zhou’s tyranny and oppression. Does that allow for deception and control?

It doesn’t have an either/or answer, which makes it all the more valuable.

So, now the biggest bottom line that films can reach, the biggest scale that can be discussed, is to be explored by animated films?

This may be lucky, after all, the main audience for these films is our next generation, perhaps, and we can have confidence in the future.

But it is too unfortunate that it is only in the most remote, the most fantastic, and the most untrue fairy tales that we can take the trouble to put in a little bit of truth.

These are the reasons why I love “Jiang Ziya” and hope that many, many people will watch it and understand and think about it.

At the same time, due to the complexity of its theme and the limitation of its duration, Jiang Ziya does have the feeling that the event is relatively simple, but the single event does not mean that the plot is not good. Moreover, anyone with discerning eyes can see that the hasty punishment of the Heavenly Father at the end is caused by external forces
